About Tote & Trail
Tote & Trail started with a simple observation: most people don't need a hundred bag options. They need a few good ones. So we built a shop around exactly four tote bags, each suited to a different kind of day.
Two of our leather totes are pebbled cowhide shoulder bags with a roomy interior, a middle zip divider, and enough pockets to keep a phone, wallet, and tablet from turning into a pile at the bottom. They come in orange, navy, and black.
The fourth is a different animal entirely: an extra-large foldable tote with a metal wire frame that stands open on its own. It holds 12 gallons, wipes clean, and folds flat when you're done.
We keep descriptions specific and skip the hype. If a bag is large, we say so and give you the measurements. If a material needs special care, we tell you that too.

Each leather tote measures approximately 14.2 inches long, 5.9 inches wide, and 9.8 inches tall, with double handles about 7.9 inches high. It fits a 12.9-inch tablet, a wallet, a notebook, a water bottle, and more.
What are the leather totes made of?
They're made of top grain first-layer cowhide leather with a pebbled texture, a black polyester lining, and metal-color hardware.
Can the extra-large tote hold groceries?
Yes. It holds 12 gallons (46 liters) and measures 22.5 by 12 by 10.4 inches. It has two mesh side pockets and one zip pocket, and the wire frame lets it stand open for easy loading.
How do I clean the extra-large tote?
Wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not put it in a washing machine or dryer, since that can damage the waterproof PE coating.
